Last week, Co-design Your Place went to London to develope inspiring projects on how to create interventions that can connect London College of Communication with the local residents of Draper Estate in the area of Elephant and Castle. During five intense days, the 18 young changemakers have been through speculative design, co-design session, researching the context, ideation and mentoring from inspiring designers from Designit. All this to develop three impactful interventions:

  • Museum of Memories – An interactive exhibition of exchange of personal belongings with a history of the area
  • Let’s Build a History Together – An installation in the streets that inspires and connects the society to create a history together
  • Layers of Elephant & Castle – A use of unused space for connecting people through interactive visual communication

We look forward to go through the implementation in London with one of these concepts in September.

But first! .. See you for Co-design Your Place at Student & Innovation House in April!
